Texas-San Antonio fought off other top in-state Division-I programs on Monday for Tyler High School cornerback Javontavius Mosley.
Mosley was a major part of the Lions’ 8-4 season in 2015. The 6-0, 170 pound, speedster caught five passes for 108 yards on offense and came up with 60 tackles on defense. Mosley padded his stat line with a tackle for a loss, 12 passes defended, one fumble recovery, and two interceptions.
The spring evaluation period helped bring in offers from Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette, North Texas, Texas State, and SMU.
Mosley’s commitment on Twitter was simple:
The Roadrunners now have four commitments to their 2017 class highlighted by Crosby cornerback Tay’lor Perry.
