Announcement: Third Annual Sea Hawk 7v7 and Lineman Challenge

Offseason activities are winding down in southern California but there is at least one more top 7v7 tournament with a team lineman challenge event – the Third Annual “Sea Hawk 7v7 and Lineman Challenge.”

The event is being held at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California, on Saturday, July 16. Start time is 9:00 a.m. local time. The list of teams participating includes some of the best of the best in the area:

El Dorado

El Segundo

JSerra

Mira Costa

Narbonne

Rancho Verde

Redondo Union

Saint Francis

Saint John Bosco

Servite

West Torrance

While the skill sets competes against one another, the linemen get a chance to show their brawn, speed, and endurance in their own team competition. The events includes seven team members bench pressing 185 pounds to a max, 20 pound medicine ball toss, 15 yard tire flip, 95 pound 15 yard farmers carry, and a six-player obstacle and relay challenge.

Each team plays five games with the event being free for all teams seeking to participate.
