Some notable football players from Pennsylvania who thrived at the college level and made it to the NFL include former St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current head coach Jason Garrett, and New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
Some top Class of 2016 recruits from Pennsylvania include Downington East (Exton) tight end Cary Angeline (USC), Aliquippa linebacker Kaezon Pugh (Pittsburgh), Hickory (Hermitage) defensive back Andrew Pryts (Penn State), Clairton athlete Aaron mathews (Penn State), Imhoptep Institute (Philadelphia) tight end Naseir Upshur (Florida State), and Council Rock North (Newtown) quarterback Brandon McIlwain ( South Carolina).
However, there are many top recruits in this area that are still weighing all their options before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
