Top Five Uncommitted Class of 2016 High School Recruits in Kansas

Kansas produces talented college football recruits every year and the Class of 2016 is no different as high athletes from within the Wheat State will go out and play college football all over the country. Some of the top Class of 2016 recruits include Wichita East defensive end Xavier Kelly (Clemson), Topeka offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (Oklahoma State), Mill Valley offensive lineman Ben Hecht (North Dakota State), and Lawrence Free State cornerback Bryce Torneden (North Dakota State).
However there many top recruits in Kansas that are still weighing all their options before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. These athletes are being looked at by college teams every day and have about two more months before National Signing Day on February 3 to make pick their college of choice. Some top uncommitted recruits in the state of Kansas include:
Amani Bledsoe
6’5”, 270 pounds
Defensive End
Lawrence H.S, Lawrence
22 offers: On August 20, Bledsoe announced his top six schools: Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and UCLA.
Bledsoe’s strengths include his size and his explosive first step ability. He uses his strength, great balance, and aggression to get past any opposing offensive line.
Isaiah Simmons
6’3”, 205 pounds
Safety
Olathe North, Olathe, KS
Nine offers: Arizona State, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, and Nebraska
Simmons uses his size and speed to make plays in coverage. He also uses his great athleticism to make big hits on opponents all over the field.
Isaiahh Loudermilk
6’6”, 275 pounds
Defensive end

13 offers: Oregon, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, and Wyoming
2014 stats: 84 tackles, six sacks, four fumble recoveries, one interception
2013 stats: 75 tackles, eleven sacks, two fumble recoveries
Loudermilk is explosive and uses his tremendous agility against opposing offensive linemen. He has an amazing first step and a quick burst of speed. He has some raw tools but has the necessary skills to be a great player at the next level.
Brock Monty
6’2”, 190 pounds
Dual-threat Quarterback
Kapaun Mt. Carmel, Wichita
Two offers: Cornell and Harvard
Interest: Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Michigan, and Oklahoma State
Stats-Passing: 96-186 for 1,485 yards, 11 TD, 4 INT; Rush: 66-194 yards, 4 TD
Monty has a great arm to make throws all over field including deep passes. He also has the ability to make plays with his legs when the passing game breaks down and he has to scramble. Monty uses his size to escape would be tacklers when he runs the ball.
Mike McCoy
6’2”, 215 pounds
Running Back
Topeka H.S, Topeka
Two offers: Kansas and South Dakota State
Interest: Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Louisville, Arkansas
2014 stats: 144 carries for 1,093 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns
McCoy uses his explosiveness and toughness to break through line and gain extra yards after contact. His size and vision enables him to break tackles for big gains. He also has great acceleration and speed to out run defenses.
