Oklahoma produces talented college football recruits every year and the Class of 2016 is no different with high school athletes from all across the state going on to play college football all over the country next season.

Some notable football players from Oklahoma who thrived at the college level and made it to the NFL include former wide receiver Wes Welker who spent time with the Broncos and Patriots, former Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones, former tight end Jeremy Shockey who won a super bowl with the New York Giants, and Oakland Raiders linebacker Curtis Loften who has also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

Some top Class of 2016 recruits from Oklahoma include Broken Arrow offensive lineman Rowdy Frederick (Tulsa), Del City quarterback Terry Wilson (Oregon), Booker T. Washington (Tulsa) running back Justice Hill (Oklahoma State), Southmoore (Moore) defensive end Noah Jones (Texas Tech), and Lexington offensive lineman Tyler Brown (Oklahoma State).

However, there are many top recruits in this area that are still weighing all their options before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. These athletes are being looked at by college teams every day and have just under three weeks before National Signing Day on Feb. 3 to pick their college of choice.
