Year after year, the state of Georgia is always chalked full of players heading off to play Division-I ball. The 2016 class is sure to produce well over 100 players that will matriculate onto a four-year college campus ready and willing to make an impact at the next level.
The suspense from Peach State talent heading towards National Signing Day on Feb. 3 is fairly limited minus a couple of last minute flips. The majority of the class has already verbally committed with in-state powerhouse Georgia getting their fair share of prospects including OL Ben Cleveland, RB Elijah Holyfield, DE Chauncey Manac, DT Julian Rochester, TE Charlie Woerner, and DT Tyler Clark to name a few.
Other top programs have infiltrated the state with teams like USC pulling WR Josh Imatorbhebhe, Clemson landing QB Zerrick Cooper and LB Tre Lamar, and Florida stealing 5-star DE Antonneous Clayton. Three 5-star and three 4-star recruits remain uncommitted with just eight days until National Signing Day.
