Two unofficial visits in the works for four-star 2024 OL Eddy Pierre-Louis

One of the more intriguing recruiting battles in the nation centers upon Tampa Catholic (Fla.) offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis (6-3.5, 320). There has been a lot of speculation on where the dominating lineman will play his college ball, and the interest in his journey continues to build with two unofficial visits in the works.
On Sept. 3, the four-star Class of 2024 prospect announced his top programs listing Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, and UCF.
In late September, the Knights brought their prized target to campus for the meeting against Baylor; Pierre-Louis hasn’t visited a campus since.
Two teams may see Pierre-Louis in the coming weeks.
“I’m thinking about going down to Miami and to Oklahoma,” Pierre-Louis said.
An update on the rapport with the Hurricanes’ staff was given.
“We’ve always kept conversing,” Pierre-Louis shared. “I have a great connection with the staff and the players. Their players are checking up on me to make sure I am good.”
Asked what the UM players are telling him about the program, Pierre-Louis replied, “They tell me they feel comfortable there, and that they love it. They tell me that they hope I make that decision. They are not forcing anything; they are just checking up to make sure I am good.”
Taking a trip to Norman has been a possibility all season long… that option continues.
“They’ve been talking about coming to see me play, but they can’t talk to me when they do,” Pierre-Louis stated. “Since my season is over, they can’t now. Coach (Bill) Bedenbaugh (OL) and I have great conversations. He has great conversations with my mom as well.”
Two other schools are still on Pierre-Louis’ big board.
“I am communicating regularly with UCF and Oregon,” Pierre-Louis said.
Asked where the Knights and Ducks sit with him on his recruiting journey, Pierre-Louis explained.
UCF: “They are pretty high with me. They have been showing me a lot of love, we have that connection.”
Oregon: “They are doing really well this year. I love the staff there. Coach A’lique (Terry), their offensive line coach, he’s always been there for me. He is helping me perfect my craft as well. He breaks down my film.”
Might the Ducks get Pierre-Louis in Eugene before he verbally commits?
“There is a chance, but we have not scheduled it yet,” Pierre-Louis stated. “I’m not sure about it.”
No immediate decision will be made by Pierre-Louis for now, he is content waiting until next month to make his announcement.
