The Bullpups swept through the opposing Washington high school schedule in the regular season and made a clean sweep in the playoffs running their 2015 record to 14-0. Among the many key contributors to the perfect season was Class of 2017 cornerback Armani Marsh.
Marsh, listed at 5’10”, 170 pounds, came up with 30 solo tackles, 12 pass deflections, three interceptions, and forced a fumble playing a shutdown corner. Perhaps the even bigger telling stat, only three passes were caught on him all season and each was a highlight worthy reception forcing the receiver to make that exceptional play to haul in the pass.
A lot of colleges are showing interest in Marsh with the upcoming one-day camp season being a time to shine showing recruiters first hand his ability to shutdown top tier talent while receiving instruction. Colleges looking into the Spokane talent includes Washington State, North Dakota, USC, UCLA, Cornell, and Washington, just to name a few.
In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I caught up with Marsh on the UCLA campus after he toured the school before taking in a Bruins practice. Marsh caught RNG up on his unofficial visits, possible camp schedule, and offseason workouts.
