Interview
Kayshon, in Week 2 the Tigers dismantled Jeanerette 53-6, what was clicking so well for the offense allowing you guys to light up the scoreboard the way you did?
“Everybody played their part and did what they had to do. We have guys stepping up. The passing game did well. I think we had 242 yards passing.”
How did the game go for you?
“It was good. Our guys were scoring, I was happy for them. I had three receptions with one touchdown.”
You have blazing speed having posted a 4.37 40-yard dash, have you had a chance to fully turn on the boosters yet this year?
“Yes, sir. I my punt return for a touchdown and I had a kick return for a touchdown that got called back because of a penalty.”
You guys get a crosstown rival in New Iberia on Friday, what kind of game are you expecting from the Yellowjackets (0-2)?
“I never know how they are going to play. What I do know, it should be a good game.”
On Sept. 1, college coaches could start reaching out to the 2020 guys. Which schools have been in contact with you this month?
“LSU, Mississippi State, Florida, and Ole Miss.”
When you watch college football on Saturdays, which players are you watching to help learn more about the game for your own personal reasons?
“I’m watching LSU, their receivers and DBs. I don’t watch anyone person, I just them overall to see what they are doing.”
Kayshon, great catching up with you today. Good luck on Friday against New Iberia.
“Thank you.”
