Wesleyan High School’s Jordan Mack talks NSD
Class of 2016 top recruit gives insight as underclassman
In less than a year Wesleyan High School cornerback/safety Jordan Mack will have his day in the sun. The Norcross, Georgia talent already has an offer on the table from Georgia Tech with Duke, Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wisconsin, Penn State, Boston College, Miami, Louisville, Arkansas, Northwestern, and Oregon all showing heavy interest.
Mack took time out to answer a few National Signing Day questions to give a perspective as an underclassman going through the recruiting process.
Jordan, what impressed you the most about schools showing interest in you?
“I like how they are constantly staying in contact and just always checking up on you to make sure everything is going well. I also like the strong classes that they brought in this signing day.”
Were there any other schools that impressed you with the class that they signed in 2015? If so, which schools and how/why?
“Every school I was looking at had a good signing class so no surprises.”
Did National Signing Day inspire you in anyway?
“NSD just inspired me to keep working hard so that I can pick up more offers and be able to celebrate like those guys.”
Did anything about NSD change how you feel about the recruiting process good or bad?
“I think NSD is a good thing and it didn’t change the way I look at the recruiting process.”
